Default Is this a boost controller?

I was checking my oil last night, and this little **** mounted on the radiator caught my eye. It has two lines, one going to the intake and one going to the turbo. There are no markings on it, I am pretty sure it is a boost controller, but I could be wrong. what do you guys think?

that makes sense because the only reason I thought it was a boost controller was because I saw something simialr under the hood of Sport Compact Car's project EVO MR in a magazine I have laying around

I know I need a boost gauge before I start playing with it, but when that time comes, do I turn it in to turn down the boost, and turn it out to turn boost up?

no, when you screw it down, it takes more pressure to push the ball up to allow air to go to the wastegate. and when you unscrew it out the less air that is needed to push the ball and you get the idea and if you need a boost gauge i have one that i can sell you. it came out of my gsx and was working fine, but i want to get a greedy one that reads in bar.

Bars are better.
