95 talon tsi awd

ok so i baught a turbo xs boost controller from a friend but i hooked it up and turned it up and i heard some air rushing out of it so i looked at it and the rubber ring closest to the bottom is covering these two little holes and it will only increase the boost to 7 lbs, all the rest seems to be coming out of the holes in the side, n/e body know why? or what i should do about it? oh the type i got is the one on slowboy racing for like 78 bucks if n/e body has one please gimme some input

which way are you turning the controller (CW or CCW)? And also where did you tap into. And did you install it correctly

 

Which way did you turn it? Counter-clockwise is supposed to tighten the spring and allow for more boost, btw. It sounds to me that you've got it too loose?
