Default BOV to ATMOSPHERE!!!

hi, I am running a 16g turbo, with255 walbro, HKS SSQVBOV, SAFCand K&NFIPK intake system on my 96 eclipse gsxand am going to get 550cc injectors for it. i am currently recirculating my bov to my intakeand idamn miss the sound. Is there any way to release to the atmosphere without having idle/stalling problems? my SAFC helps a lot with the problem but it would still randomly stall. is it not tuned properly?

you cant tune for that with an SAFC. you can only slightly help it. The only way to properly fix the problem is to convert to a GM MAF or get a stand alone like and AEM EMS. as long as you got MAS your not going to be able to vent the BOV

Just like he said there really isnt much of a way around it. There are ways if you have a translator. Like getting MAF-t, but i have heard horror stories in tuning with that. The other one is PROm or something along those lines. But the only true way to have it perfect is a standalone, and you dont really need that at this point. id say just get used to the new noise

agreed to the fullest extent. And it is very annying at that. I had the Evo vented for a while because my recirc kit didnt have a dump hose. I got annoyed real quick and ha to make something up so I didnt have to hear it all day long

Yea, if it makes your car run like **** w/o $500-$1600 in upgrades... it prolly isnt worth the time or effort
