I'm looking for a decent b.o.v for my 2g eclipse GS-T. I want one that can be re-circulated. What b.o.v's recirculate and how can you tell if its capable or not?

 

The twomost common BOV's that recirc are the Greddy type RS and the HKS SSQV. Both are very good. They will both handle the boost you would need. IMO i dont really like the sound of the greddy, but thats me. I would go with the HKS SSQV

 

hks ssq i always recomend b/c you can't leak with it. you can also use the Greddy type S but it's discontinued so you'll have to get one off ebay. recirk kit is cheap enough for all 3 bov's.

 

Don't forget a stock 1G BOV and my personal favorite, the Forge 1G BOV (DV).

Are you referring to the 1G BOV? If you mean a crushed 1G like RC stated, then yes. Another variable of a crushed 1G is the "Dodge Garage Mod". If you're referring to the Forge 1G bov, then no. This is an aftermarket bov by Forge, which includes 4 springs of different rates, 2 plates, they can hold 30psi, and the dump tube and hg tube rotate 360'.

 

How much do you want for your 1g b.o.v? The 1g's are good b.o.v 's right? I just want it to be capable of about 16-18 pounds until I get my bottom end built. Besides the 2g's are garbage it looks like its made out of fricken plastic.
