brake calipers
i recently bought a 99 mitsubishi eclipse gs..and i bought it from a dealership but the car was bought at an auction and the kid that owned the car, decided to paint 2 brake calipers silver and did a horrible job. where would be the best place for performance calipers, and is it difficult to change them? thanks

RE: brake calipers
i have limited mechanical knowledge, but my neighbor is a mechanic for the state..so if i had what i wanted him to put on..im sure he could do it for me no problem. could you tell me where i could find good calipers for the 99 eclipse spyder gs. the only ones that i can find are stock

RE: brake calipers
honestly, unless you go to a big brake kit from someone like baer or brembo (very very expensive) the stock calipers are going to be fine. the work isnt very hard, and shouldnt take him but maybe an hour, and thats to replace all four. is there a certain reason that you want to upgrade the calipers?

Patrick
on your dodge
on the front wheels i see the red coloring
i actually just wanted to make mine yellow round.
and i just wanted to strip the grey paint off of the calipers
because it looks like the kid used house paint is how bad it looks
im trying to keep the car mostly stock with appearance mods
but his caliper job takes away from the car a lot
