Default Has anyone painted their brake calipers?

I'd like to paint mine as I think a nice red would look really good. But, I'm not sure how to do it or what type of paint to use.

I did mine with the brush kit last summer. It turned out really good! I like the brush kit becuase if you are painting them in place you can just be very careful and you wont get paint where you don't want it.

I'll most likely use the brush, and apply 3 light coats to get a smooth look. I'll look into spraying but I don't want to have to mask off the entire car incase of overspray.

So, for those that have done this, how long ago did you do it and how's it holding up?

It took me about half an hour per wheel, make sure you clean them really good. It hasn't flaked or anything yet and it's been 8 months

I've used both techniques and they took me about the same amount of time. And both were done over a year and a half ago, and neither one is fading or flaking.
