yeah i'm changing my guages from orange to blue. can someone tell me what kind of bulb i need for the gauges with with speedometer and all that is.

 

somebody has just done it not too long ago, check the search, and go back a few pages.

 

i changed my cluster and my hvac/ac to red. i used LED wedge bulbs #74 as the replacement, you can get them from www.superbrightleds.com, but the problem with changing them to blue is there is a amber color filter built into the back of the overlays. and the only way to get it off is careful sanding. most people on here wouldn't recommend doing it. but if you do, i would probably use really fine grit paper and sand it off little by little evenly because if you dont, you'll haveuneven lighting and it would look like crap. if you search "led cluster swap" there is a tech article from d$*tuners.com about something like it and it shows you a little how to sand the filter off.......if you decide to go that route


or you can get a white overlay that lights up green or blue.
