buying a 95 Eclipse GS-T
Hello fellow Mitsu owners..
this will be my first Mitsubishi, but before i purchase it, maybe you could help me look for the most common problems on the car when looking at it the first time.
and.. please be gentle with me, this IS my first post :P, eventhough i have surfed the forum for good posts, ill try my luck anyway:
Im close to purchasing a Eclipse ยด95 GS-T in England with LHD and KM cluster.
WHAT ARE PRO AND CONS with this car ?
I chose this one over the GSX because it puts out more power , weight less and are cheaper ? bad idea ?
It allready got HKS, BOV, Exchaust, gentle engine tuning and looks very clean and i exellent condition.
What problems are the most commen with this model? what should i look, listen for ?
I also what to put about 1000$ extra into the car for pure performance parts. What is recommended ? larger IC/Turbo, ECU work or ??
thanks..

RE: buying a 95 Eclipse GS-T
how many miles. Because i know the first thing that everyone will tell you as i will is search up on "crankwalk" on here. All 95-99 eclipse turbo's are prone to it. And if it has high miles there are things you have to check for. If you search im sure you'll find what to look for. Between the gsx and the gst the only difference really is the AWD. Personally i would rather have the AWD then the FWD. But everyone is defferent. You'll have better traction. Also look for rust everywhere. That is one problem that you DO NOT want to have to deal with.
