Default Buying a clutch for 99 GST

I decided to go with Slowboy Racing for the ACT 2100 Street Clutch but I have a question. Is the same clutch kit used with all DSM's? Im taking it the clutch is universal because it doesnt give me an option to input the year and type of car I have in the DSM section. What im worried about is ordering the kit and it doesnt fit my transmission. I have a 99 GST and the part number im getting is MB1-HDSS...any other 2G Turbo Eclipse drivers use this same clutch? Thanks.

well the stuff i have heard from them was the parts that they make in house. The ACT clutch is something they order and ship out, so they must be in stock. So i dotn see how he could have a problem there

cool, let us know how it goes. if you want to hear a truely horrific story about Slowboy asking Paintballproam, he's just now geting his engine that he ordered, i wana say, about 6-8 months ago. he also noticed that they did not package a few bolts that he needed for the engine that they said were to be included...

I hear what your sayin RC...but I think I agree with Engineer. I think its because its an entire engine that they would lag so much. Im just getting a pretty heavy plate, light disc, and a throw-out bearing. Much easier to pack up the clutch kit than an engine with all the bolts, etc to go along with it. Hopefully it wont take long to get it...but ill keep you guys updated.

I have had great success with ACT, i have their four puck race disk on my turbo civic, and it has never slipped, or even acted like it was going to.
I had their organic street disk, and extreme pressure plate on my other Si, and it worked flawlessly.
