ok in short my boyfriend got wax on my convert. top and now there is this spot that is driving me up the wall. I tried dawn to strip the wax but it didn't work well. I wanted to buy a cleaner anywayze but something readily available it different areas. For now I just want to get that spot off. I'm to nervous to try any random chemical. PLZ help!

 

You could see if the people who did this to my car will also do it to yours, and get a new top... http://jtmann26.home.bresnan.net/images/Picture004.jpg But seriously, I guess just trying to "pick" at it with a needle or something to get it out would be the safest bet. I'd also be weary to try chemicals, because a friend of mine just said soap and water, nothing else goes on a rag top. How big is this spot? Dime size, quarter size, basketball size. :O

 

Go to autozone and buy the carpet cleaner with the scrubbing bristles on the nozel and just scrub it in there...I did the same thing with my spyder and it worked for me

 

That or get this http://www.boatersworld.com/webapp/w...uctId=13078143 or somehting similar, no need to buy a new top when 8 bucks can clean yours.
