there are many ways to add power to the car.. start with a cold air intake, header and cat back exhaust.. this will increase hp and throttle response. how extreme do you want to go? they make turbo kits, or you could add a very small shot to the car..

u cant just up and turbo a car due to the build up u have to do to the motor to prep it for a turbo....</P>


i wouldnt sugest underdrive pullys seeing how they throw the balance of the motor off...</P>


if u want cheep HP gains look on DSMtalk.com ... they have a lot of DIY tutorials...but a cold air, Cyclone Intake mani. , header, straight pipe from the header back, u will see some noticable gains, espically with the cyclone intake mani.</P>

 

stright pipe???? i dont think so.... with a small discplacment engine you need to be careful of theexhaust tunning, a stright pipe would make you loose considerable power on the bottom end because of tolittle back pressure i say 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 diameter exhaust with a catalytic converter, that should keep good back pressure and open your flow up a bit, just my 2 cents, peace
