and i need help with my trans it works fine when i just cruise around but when i try to pass or get in it ,it trys to down shifts but it doesnt grab my engine just revs up untill i let off the gas. and i have a 4g63 with a auto trans, what can i do to stop this?

first of all you already asked the thing about the turbo and i already told you the answer in your other thread. Would you please stop just opening up more and more threads. keep it all in one.

NO you cannot run a turbo without a compressor impeller. If you knew how a turbo actually worked you wouldnt even ask that. And it sounds like your torque converter on the trans is going. You will probably have to replace it.

Have you checked the trans fluid? Does it smell burnt? What gears does it have problems w/?

You have me both confused and intrigued...why in someones right or left mind even fathom running a turbo without the compressor impeller?
