RE: Car just 'stopped'
Thanks Sanguinius! That helps out alot man. I appreciate it. But got 2 more questions, where is the resistor block(what exactly is it?)? and the MFI relay?
Oh yeah, about that multi meter... the positive goes into the "right" hole, but what about the negative... to a good ground, right? So when testing, put positive in "right" hole and then turn on the multi meter? |
RE: Car just 'stopped'
NO you want the multimeter leads as CLOSE to the item to be tested as possible. Let's say you're testing a regular resistor. You're not going to use the battery - to touch one of the leads to. NO you touch each side of the resistor. As for where those 2 items are I have NO idea.Sorry I can only help so much lol. I don't know EVERYTHING about these cars. Hell I've never even actually owned one yet.

Hahahahaha, funny man. But sad! Well, do you know where the resistor block is exactly?

RE: Car just 'stopped'
my car actually did the same thing while i was on the highway once...driving fine, then all my lights popped on and it shut off...turned out it was my camshaft position sensor...if u wanna check that out

RE: Car just 'stopped'
I suggested that too.
Turns out it was his exhaust heat sheild that was rubbin on the wires for the o2 sensor.. and caused them to keep shorting. All fixed now aparently. |
RE: Car just 'stopped'
Yep... thanks guys!
