so far im having no luck finding them any idea on affordable LIGHTWEIGHT rims? pereferably black with a chrome outline or gun metal. 18 inch. I found some light ones for 600 for all 4
you aren't going to find ANYTHING light w/ chrome on it. what do you concider lightweight? volk is the best out there but you gotta pay to play.

motegi's also a pretty good brand, they sell a lot of light weight wheels and i dont think they are quite as expensive as volks

Carbon fibre is stronger than steel... hense why forumula 1 cockpits are made of it. Idiot lol
yeah carbon fibre is stronger than steel, but steel is also way more flexable because carbon fibre is a crystalized structure. so in the sense that if you hit a big pothole it could shatter your rim apose to slightly bending it. so no need to be calling names here sebba

sorry i didnt mean chrome. i meant black with a silver outline like you know not BLACK! lol. it was 500 and change for all 4 no tires and i cud pick them up with my finger. i think they were driv or drif or something like that. there name brand, it was in a catalog with all the other name brands. Any other options in that price range? the most ill spend is 700 for all 4. yes im cheap but only because i found these for 500 and i could lifet them with my finger....well my strong finger lol

well cheap won't buy you much in this game pal. 700 bucks probably won't get you anything under 18lbs or so.

Get435 those CF rims are 14lbs.... Volks weigh as little as 12.

I've seen a set of ACTUAL carbon fiber rims (i.e. ALL carbon fiber) but can't find the link anymore, i think they weighed 8lbs or some rediculous number.
