would a 3" cat-back fit on my GST with out having to do anything to from the cat forward?

Yes, however if you dont want the check engine light you should do the "trick" that can be seen as a sticky in the eclipse section. If you dont want to bother with that then get the 2.5". Also, the 3" is only needed if your running like over 400.

Do you plan on running a strait pipe?

oh thats what i thought, yea im probably just going to stick with 2.5 since i dont plan on going over 400hp anytime soon. im probably going to end up gettin a hi-flow cat. not sure how a stait pipe would sound being too loud or what not.

Just go with the 3". Its worth it in case you ever want even alittle more power. Your not gonna loose power by having the bigger piping. So why not do it.

i have a 3" turboback apexi exhaust no cat has a flange for the 2nd O2 and i have yet to get a cel. i would go 3"
