OK, Im new to this forum, but i really need some help. I have a 1998 Eclipse RS, 2.0 liter non-turbo.

I am looking for a nice fitted muffler, not cat-back exaust, just the muffler and the connecting pipe. (basically so i just have to jack the car up and bolt it on). My price range is around $300, give or take a few. I want a nice throaty, semi-loud, low tone that revs up nicely to get some attention. (think along the lines of the 95 eclipse in The Fast and the Furious). If you guys could give me some suggestions that would be a huge help!

Just get the whole cat back, you will be payin only like 200 more.

 

and most of the time those *cheap* cans sound like ****, the whole system will give you what your lookin for, plus a coupla hp...........

 

Alright, well i have been lookin at cat-bakcs latley, and i narrowed it down to GReddy, DC, and a few others, any suggestions? Are these exausts good choices?

 

Go with Greddy, I have one on my eclipse and it sounds really good. Do you want a very loud exhaust system or a semi-loud system? Greddy is in between, it's not too loud but it will still get peoples attention when you drive by.

 

I am looking to buy a borla cat back for my n/a eclipse, hopefully soon to have a trurbo kit on it. does anyone know how borla cat backs sound?
