are you running stock turbo? you shouldn't be spooling that late... i'd check to see if you have a boost leak, check ur bov for a leak...

well the 16g does take longer to spool. a couple things you can do to get it spoolin quicker are
check ur spark plugs make sure ur gettin a good spark
wires (upgraded ngk, msd, wires are good)
new distributor if urs is stock/old... it helps
2.5" or even better - 3" o2 housing (makes a huge differnece!)
how big is ur down pipe? 3" is perfect
you don't START spooling until 3500 or you are done spooling at 3500? how much boost are you running? you may have a boost leak somewhere.. you can make a boost leak tester pretty cheap from lowe's.

yeah, his turbo is not spooling right.. my 16g spools pretty early and is usually spooling at around 1800- 3300rpm.. at like 17psi...i headers, and ported o2 (its alot bigger then the factory one!!), and downpipe.. and ported turbo.... so it spools pretty quick. it allows me to have good lower rpm power, but it doesnt get much more on the top end...cuz it is a little turbo....

good luck fixin yer car.. cuz there is definitley something wrong with it...
