Default clutch pedal noise?

I have a slight squeling sound that seems to be related to my clutch pedal. It's not a very loud sound, but it is high pitched and annoying as hell. It seems to stop if I press on my clutch pedal a little bit, like deprerssing the pedal 1-2 inches.

Anyone ever have this problem?

95 GST

Thanks

I second that. It doesn't mean that it's not anything else in the clutch system, but it's a good start.
..and yes, you'll have to remove the tranny to get to it and [:@]

Thanks, that's what I read in the manual too, but I wanted to make sure. Damn. Aside from the stupid noise, what other porblems might I expect from this?

Thanks

well if the throw out bearing starts to get worse youll have a tough time shifting because you wont be able to dis-engage the clutch correctly

and i was told it's probably something you want to get fixed relatively soon, that way you don't run into those problems.

Yea, well if I am going to pull the tranny shouldn't I do more than just replace the bearing? Should I replace the clutch? Clutch release fork? Clutch slave cylinder? Clutch lines?

well if its been a while on the clutch i would just replace it since a clutch kit will come with a new TOB. Other than that you really dont need to replace anything else. Resurface the flywheel as well

Well I planned on upping my boost after replacing the motor mounts and from what I read, replacing the clutch makes sense with that in mind. I just bought the car so I am unsure how good or bad the clutch is.

Guess I need to start researching clutches. Damn. Seems like I am going to overhaul this motor. Lol
