Clutch problem
I don't know if I have a problem with the clutch or not,I got a 95 rs and I think that the clutch pedal is too close to the top.Is this a sign that I am about to replace the clutch or is there a tensioner somewhere that I could adjust?

RE: Clutch problem
What do you mean too close to the top? Do you have alot of pedal play before the clutch engages? Or does it start right away when you hit the pedal?

RE: Clutch problem
Need to be a little more specific i dont really understand the problem.

RE: Clutch problem
When I have the clutch pressed all the way down and I start to pull out the pedal is close to the top before it starts to pull

RE: Clutch problem
well there is a bolt right behind the pedal that you can adjust the pedal hieght. When you floor it at high RPM's does the clutch slip?

RE: Clutch problem
Not that I am aware of,I don't think I have floored it and felt it slip, just like I said, the clutch catch's with about 2 inches left to the top of the pedal. No slippage that I know of or felt.

RE: Clutch problem
well then you can just adjust the pedal hieght. Right behind the pedal there is a threaded screw with a bolt closest to the pedal. Loosen the bolt, then turn the threaded screw one way or the other, i am not sure which, tighten the bolt back up, and see if it helped. You only need to turn the screw very slightly though. Just kinda do a guess and check with it.
