My girlfriend... sorry... EX girlfriend, has coil on plug on her Corolla.. and they have 140k on them.

damn, but yet again y on a corolla?lol unless u're talkin' about the oem ones that come like that which i don't think came on corolla's but on like saab's

They come stock... why? Because they are more reliable and need less maintanance.

actually yeah i member that my ex gf's corolla had the same thing, cuz i member popping the hood when i hit a fence with her car , cuz i wasn't use to automatics so when i stopped to read this paper i got, i took my foot of the brake and thought id just sit there like a standard in neutral, damn was i wrong,haha

My overall power goal is 350 or so, I will be happy with that, so do you think I should do magnecor or Coil on plug?

Magnecores should be fine for that. The coil on plug isn't worth it for that

Well if you ever had a coil go bad you could just go to the junkyard ad get a handfull of 300m cop's.

well i'm a person that just thinks every little thing helps in some way. in some articles i've seen them in, one in paticular, on an STI it was like 350whp or something, they installed them and b/c of the stronger spark it started spooling like 200 or 300 rpm's quicker and reached full hp 200-300rpm's quicker and picked up like 6hp or something. i plan on running them on my del sol.

Well It is only $100 more so I think that I am going to go with the COP set up. If nothing else it will clean up my engine bay and look sweet! I will let you guys know how it turns out. I won't get it until nexy month tho.
