It sounds like there is a ticking coming from my coil pack....420a n/t...any ideas?

 

does it run ok? any problems w/ idle, acceleration?

 

it seems to idle fine, i juss put this coil in a week ago. It has some lack of power. But the lack of power has been that way, and ery part i put on it makes it a lil better lol

 

well, that's why we do it lol. 420a's are not very strong cars at all but are reliable if you take care of them. how loud is the tick? take off ur plug wires and make sure everyting looks ok on the connecting end and plug them back up and make sure they are securely on there... see if that works. could be someting as simple as a loose wire... always try the simplest and cheapest route first.

 

i did try that. From what i see its fine. The tick is LOUD.

 

All 420a's have that tick. Its even louder than the 2g lifter tick lol

 

i never had that tick seb. man all ican think of is that mabey it's a faulty coil? did ur last coil make the same sound? in that case i'd change out the wires
