a few options, one forget the MAF sensor and deal with a check engine light (electric tape will fix that problem, or you could just live with your stock intake, a rs and gs eclipse really aren't worth the money and in the end when you learn more you'll just be disappointed at how much money you wasted on that model car. i know this from personal experience don't make the same mistake, step up to a gsx eclipse of if you must have a convertible the gst. much better motor to play with and have fun.

no, the 420a engine is a turd and when compared to the turbo engine (4g63) its not even worth doing anything to other than basic maintenance.

swap the 4g63 head on to your motor, seems to be a popular upgrade people do to the 4g64 (honestly not sure how well it is though im assuming its like the Honda Frankenstein swaps with a larger displacement block and a small displacement head) or do the turbo upgrade but always remember you get what you pay for. and do yourself a favor go with ball bearing turbo's don't fall for the cheaper needle bearing one's. or if you want to go all out check these guys home of Brent Rau's 6 second eclipse they sell fully built motors, http://magnusmotorsports.com/

Yeah some people say that if u do it rite the 4g64 with a turbo can be a insane beast. I've seen one race and it took the gs-t version and ate it and spit it out. It was pretty crazy but the 3000gt vr4 now that's a beast!

Any vehicle and any motor can be a beast with enough time and money invested in it, if your truely passionate about the car of your choice you can make it do almost anything you desire, time and money is all it needs which are both that most people including myself are short on most of the time lol.

True about money thing. I just figure since I bought the gs for only $2500.00 with 96k miles on it that it be better than buying a gsx for more money with more miles.
