I would run a carfax history report on it, as well as have a certified Techician look at before you buy it. 5Gs sounds too low especially with 113,000miles on it hmmm. Not tryin to get you down but thats my opinion

that is an AWESOME deal if it's true... 5k for a e316g suported 300whp GSX is very very very cheap. either there is something wrong w/ it or the guy who is seling it is clueless. SEAL THAT THING FROM HIM, you could turn around and sell it for 8k if you wanted to.

"hopefully the engine is sound and there arent any problems i bout a 97 gst for 5000 and it blew an engine 2 months after i bought thanks to the a$$ holes who owned it before me. make sure a mechanic checks it out that is familiar with these cars if possible i wish i would have done that before."

id bring a compression tester with you if you can, or ask him for the #'s. Alot of things youd want to check is impossible without seeing it. Obviously the seller isnt gonna be truthfull. Stuff like leaks of oil around the valve cover. Rust in the engine bay or underbody. Leaking at the transfer case (very common).
