gotcha...and TE i didnt mean swapping the 4g64 with a 4g63 n/a i mean the 4g63t...sorry for not being specific...but ok that answers my question there...i was misinformed and now i know...thanks guys...
oh i know what you meant. Still there isnt a reason to do that. If you read the article, the 4g64 is almost the exact same thing as a 4g63. With a longer stroke. They actually use the same rods as a stock 4g63t. So there is no need to swap the engines to turbocharge it

ooooohhhhhhh gotcha...well then wouldnt that mean with the proper internal work and then all the supporting mods the 4g64 would be a better engine to turbo then the 4g63t??

I wouldnt go that far...

well actually alot of people will swap in the 4g64 crank to stroke out the motor

which makes the 4g63 the dominant motor still...just with a longer stroke...right...

it can be done i have a 4g63 in my 97 spyder and we turboed the hell out of it but did not replace the timing belt..... could have swore i did. so only got to enjoy it for 10 miles and decided to upgrade everything can't wait to show pics of my car. it goes off for paint in the morning.

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you saying you had a 4g64 and swapped a 4g63? or did it already have the 4g63? Or did you really mean that you have a 4g64 turbo'd and you made a typo..
