Depending how far out of time the engine is (IF this is the problem) you'll likely be replacing 8 or more valves as ALL pistons will be that far out of time. You're looking at a head job but if it's not TOO far out of time the pistons likely are fairly safe. They may have small marks in them but they can still be used. If you're building a racer then you might want them replaced but for daily driving as long as there is no loose metal in there you're good to go. IMHO.

true that theoretically it could happen to any car but it's just an unspoken law on here that the 7 bolts are nitorious for it and the 6 bolts are not... as a matter of fact i don't think i've ever heard of anybody walkin the crank in a 6 bolt.
Not many over people even spin bearings.... other than the 3kgt guys cause they always spin bearings kinda like the 7 bolt getting crankwalk lol
hey mike i spun a bearing in my car. i also have a video of my car when it happened, ill post it to see if its the same. the idle is bouncy from the IAC but the sound of a spun bearing is horrid.

well that means you have a spun bearing, depending on how much you drove it like that. maybe a rod and a crank or i think you can get thicker rod bearings. your gonna have to take the pan off and see.

Okay were you able to fix the problem with out any major damage. And as soon as the sound started i was like F that and pulled over the car and it still sits there. But how much did you end up spending to fix it all in all.

Thanks for the sig tip i hope it works now
