hello everybody i havent been here in a while since i had my car running i am having a slight problem with crankwalk i have a 96 talon awd motor in my 93 body it is a 7 bolt ive herd a wierd ticking noise from the motor when i drive it and am fixing to rebuild the whole motor new everything i was wondering if i have to replace the crank since that i have taken it for a stroll in the park when the motor it off i can pry the balancer back and for easly which is one sign and the motor has locked up on me twice so i was wonderin wut new parts i need i know i am buying pistonf bearings and rings do u need my crank shaved and wut size overbor for the crank if i do and also wut size rods i need 147mm or 150 if u guys could help it would be much appreciated

First off i can barely read what you are typing since it is all one long sentence with no punctuation or structure. Please try and type in a way to make it more clear next time.

In order to know what needs to be done to the crank you need to remove it. You may not even need to have it shaved at all if it isnt scored. From there you can begin to decide what other parts you will need from knowing what has been damaged.

ok sorry it was like 3 in the morning. i have a 7 bolt 4g63. when u git crankwalk does the crank need to be replaced? how would i overcome walking the crank again? wut size rods do i need cause idk wut the difference is between 147mm and 150mm on ebay i want to push 19lbs of boost again.

You dont need a new crank just need to replace the thrust bearing, why not just find a 6 bolt and build that?

the thrust bearing which one is that is it the one in the middle of the crank ?

Should be the one in the middle. Also check out www.vfaq.com there is a lot of good info abt crank walk and crank walk fixes.
