my brother in law is selling his 95 gsx but its auto and the transmission is shot. i can get it for probably 1000 and its got a brand new engine and turbo with it. new computer and bushings and its only got 89,xxx miles on the chassis and frame. Im still not sure if i want to pick this up cause i know they tend to have electrical problems and so on. im just interested what other problems the 2g is known for since im not much of a dsm guy?

 

who said dsms have electrical problems?>? get it if you dont mind paying more money to fix it up it sounds like a deal. if you dont wana go through the trouble then pass. i wouldnt get it just because its an auto, but thats jus me...

 

i would buy it. i dont like the auto tranny but for a grand thats a good price for a 2g awd. you could part that sucka out for alot more the that

 

You could do a 5-speed swap if you want to put the effort in.
