Default Disapearing water

I have noticed over the last few weeks that my radiator needs re filling. I just replaced the cap on it last month bc it was cracked. What is the best way to check for leaks?

I noticed that as well in my black eclipse, it seems to dry its water supply fast but their are no leaks present. My mechanic said due to the old age of the engine only having 79,000miles on it. Sry i can't help you, just make sure to check it before you are going to drive it hard or far, and i would advise to keep a jug of water around just in case.

your mechanic is just being lazy because 70000 miles isnt even alot and there must be something wrong there obviously. It might not even be that your radiator has a leak, could be a hose, could be a head gasket. the only way really is to turn it on and look around for dripping.
