I think a turbo swap is going to be needed to win. Plus all the mods to support something around 20 PSI. Autos are alot different than 5spds.

 

A stock 14b turbo off a first gen is pretty reasonably priced, and can get some good power if tuned right.. Ive seen some 14b turbo's running like 16g turbo's.. Worth looking into..

What mods are needed for an automatic gst running the stock t25 to beat the lightning? I owned an automatic gsx for 2 yearsandthere is a big difference in an automatic running 13s on a stock turbo and a 5spd. I ran a 15.6in my stock gsx while my buddy with his stock gst ran 14s.
I could of sworn they were 13 second trucks.

You prolly could beat it with a T25, but it would be easier with a 14b turbo.. Not to mention he needs to make sure he wins..

 

The race isnt about the ride its about the rider. AKA can he drive i know its a auto but reaction time is a lot.

 

so i had plans on doing a 16g turbo in my car with an exhuast. would that get me into the range i need to b in to beat him or do i need some more stuff then that. PS. im not gonna trash my little borhters first car, it remeinds me of when i got my car.
