Hey guys-

Thinking of buying a 95 gsx but the drivers side lock just turns round and round and wont lock. Even when im inside the car and try to lock the door manually it wont lock. You think something inside the door panel fell off?

may not b connected to the rod.

 

Thanks, man... Im gonna get it to the shop tommorow but just wanted to see what you guys thought, I might go ahead and take off the panel before i take it to a shop and if im lucky i can fix it.

yea could just be a screwed up rod... or i think there's a clip that holds the actual lock in place, and if that's broken or has fallen off than that could also be ur problem

 

Its real easy to pull the door panel off and take a look

 

yeah... the clip is a round omega on the insside of the door handle... rods should be connected to the lock barrel and the thingy that moves when you lift the oother thing

 

welcome to the DSM world were thingy is a very technical term you will here alot
