ok, so I was thinking about getting a downpipe for my GSX, what is a good cheap one to go with? I want to keep the cat. Also do the magnaflow high-flow cats help out alot?

 

i dunno if they help a lot, but they do help... and you can get a megan racing downpipe for pretty cheap... also check dsmtrader.com for a good used one

 

On its own it wont help, but with other basic mods it will a lot

I puta full 3 inch magnaflow muffler with high flow cat on my car. Paid 300 shipped and 100 to weld it up and install it. Sounded great. Really deep and had no problems with it. Great exhaust company in my opinion. I also have a full magnaflow exhaust on my chevelle and love how that sounds too. No complaints at all about them.

 

The megan racing downpipe is a nice one and you can get it for about $200 shipped from dsmparts. And the high flow cat really ist gonna give you that much extra but they are pretty cheap so if you have the extra cash then i would do it because it will make a difference later down the road
