can you tune your cars A/F ratio safely with a dsm link if you do not have a wideband?

I doubt you can tune any A\F safley without a wideband. how will you know what your A\F is actually at without the wideband there to read it

Well if you go to a shop to tune it they will just hook one up and do it then take it off when they are done. But its also a good indicator if you have a problem. Its worth getting one.

any year from 90-99 eclipse

I was lied too [:@]. Somebody I met told me you need a 95 ecu to use dsm link and that is because its programmable.

Yes you do need a EPROM ECU and they only made those on 95 and older cars. 96-99 do not have EPROM and can not be used with the DSMLink. It says so on their site, so you were not lied to.

How does the Anti-lag work on dsmlink?

Also, what is it talking about in this part:
"OBD II fix2,3... Fixes the OBDII MIL bug in the '95 ECU. Mitsubishi did a recall on the '96 ECUs but offered no fix for the '95."

Thank TX97gst that a costly thing but it might fix my missfire with the 6bolt swap with that inverted cas signal thing. But since i am poor and at a point where i would dance for money. It will have to wait.. Droppin 1200 into a whole new front end. Everything that has to do with steering.
