on the top of this sectio there is a pinned thread called alternate swaps for 2G GST\GSX you might want to read threw that and the link insidew about crank walk. there are signs it will tell you to look for to know if crank is walking and explains it in detail

i had a 95 tsi-awd that i got up to 133000 miles with no real engine problems but it all depends on how it was driven. To me that seems like a good price considering it is a '99. The mileage is allitle high but the car is 7 years old. Also i would just check for rust, mainly under the car and in the engine bay. Check the suspension. What, if any, mods are done to the car? And how many owners?

or maybe the price is low cause crankwalk symtoms have started to arise and the owner knows it. but I dunno id just research crankwalk very well before you buy it and then make a choice

well its not a really low price for that car, that is about what it should be selling for. The KBB value is 5995 (I know this isn't the standard now, but it does say something)
