just rebuilt the motor, and its idling around 2000-2200 rpms...and when i put it into gear to take off it tries to take off fast, everything is hooked up as should be, all vacuum lines are hooked up.. any ideas?

what is the reg idle suppose to be??

 

idle should be around 900-1000. try adjusting the BISS screw seen here

i did tried that already, even shut all the way it still idles around 2000 rpms..

 

Is it throwing a check engine light? if so, it might be the idel speed control motor...

easy to fix but the part is like $300
