A friend of mine with oil leaks everywhere in his honda accord's engine got a worse reading than mine.

His first reading was 6.2##### and he went for the second time after using tons of gas treatment for 4 months and it went down to 4.3#####

I hope mine will work because I put that guarantee to pass emission liquid. Since I put that liquid my car idle much and doesn't stink as much.

 

another thing about Having Mitsubishi eclipse 1995, At the emission test they don't care about the CEL because it's not required to get OBD test although my car uses OBDII port connector. I think from now on I will just buy car 95 and below....

 

haha, i know, the same thing with my old one. I had a 95 AWD and still onlg got a smog test. Although i hear now that in 2008 in mass they may be doing away with smog testing. So i might not even need emmisions in my 91

its just what its called. Its a gas that the way it burns it will reduce the emmisions slightly. Some places just call it the "guarenteed to pass emmisions gas"

 

Will it make up for a cleared cat?

 

how old is the car? If your on a 96+ then you dont have anything to worry about cuz you can fool the system on that one. But on a smog test i doubt it will make up for it

 

I never had to take a test when I got mine.. Which is a good thing b/c i would fail.. The 1 + with living in wisconsin...

 

Engineer. I see in your picture that you have toyota MR2. HOw's that car? Is it good for daily driving? Does it have a lot of mechanical problems? I'm really bad in fixing my car so I'm looking for something reliable for my second car.

 

I love it, i havnt had it very long but from the time ive had it, its been fun to drive. Havnt really heard of toomany mech. problems with them Higher mileage ones sometimes spin bearings, but thats mostly to people beating on them and building them up. and of course because of high mileage. But there are two engine types. The turbo (3s-gte) and the non turbo (5sfe) both are pretty reliable.
