i never said they didnt sound alike, a loose or broken flexplate - or loose torque converter boltsdo sound like a rod knock or main bearing even, especially on a video, i'm just saying evryones still goin on about it and he already said what the problem was and that its fixed, and evryones trying to tell him that wasnt his problem. you cant just magically fix a spun bearing overnight, you can retighten converter bolts and its done, so his car was a quick fix, i guess nobody's lying to him as everybody stated.
belive me ive had many cars with loose and brokenflexplates / flywheels and converter bolts loose and my first thought was a rod hammerin
and ive blown up ALOT of engines and i know what different noises sound like, they do sound very similar - i'm not trying to bash anyone on here, i just think some of the relplies get to be a little far fetched.
no hard feelings.

well I simply asked for a video after to hear it. when you say flywheel I have only heard it once on a manual car that the flywheel has sounded like that and it was an aftermarket one in a Supra TT.
