Default Engine change

Hi guys, I've got a spyderGS (manual) that has about 120k miles on it, andI don't wantto spend too much money trying to keep its engine alive. So, I' m thinking about getting a new or remanufactured engine on it. Also, my dream is to have a turbo, so here is my question, can I put aGS-T engine on it? And what other modifications should I prepare myself to do?

yes you can swap it, its a direct fit. you'll need the turbo'd longblock from the 1g or 2g eclipse.

I couldn't find anyone that has done it on a spyder before. Do you know where to find any details for that swap?

have you ever pulled an engine before? if so it's a direct fit... the only differnce really in the 4g63 and the 4g64 is the 2.4liters created by the crank/piston/rod combo. if you have never pulled an engine before i suggest having sombody else do it. or at last somebody who knows what they are doing help you.

Don't you have to swap out quite a few things when adding the new head with future plans of a turbo?
