Hi Guys,

I had changed the Timing Belt and also Engine Tuned up. I drove 500miles in 2days and i saw today Service Engine Soon light glow. I don't know why it had showed up? I know that this light will glow if there is any problem with ignition or emision systems. Please correct me if i am wrong. what i need to do now? Please help...all these things happening to me..

Make sure everything thing is plugged in and make sure u didnt leave and vacuum hoses off or something like that. Get the car scanned and see what code you have.

 

Did you change the wires and the boots under each coil? If not you may try doing that.

 

Yes, we have changed that..i am going to take this to autozone tomorrow. by the way, how many miles can we drive after service engine soon light showed up?

As long as the car isn't misfiringbadly you should be fine.

 

i have gone to mechanic and he said the car is misfiring. what exactly is misfiring?

A misfire is when a cylinder is not firing, could be a bad spark plug, bad fuel injector, ect...
