Default engine died

i was driving along at 55mph in 5th not pushing it, then i looked down and saw my temp gauge was almost peged at hot. so i pulled into the gas station, opend the hood to find the entire passenger sided of the engine bay covered in oil, puddles on the tranny, every thing dripping with oil even both IC pipes. There was like no oil in the car, and almost no coolant, no discolered exhaust tho, or foam on the cams. wtf this sucks, its on its way here on a flat bed

im thinkin head gasket. But i really dont want to put that much effort into the 7 bolt since im only gonna use it another 10 months MAX. Cuz i want to do a stage 5 6bolt. So im not sure what i want to do. I was thinking of just getting a stage 1 6bolt for now, use it till i build my stage 5. and then put the stage 1 6bolt in my gaurdians gsx since it has a 7bolt. What would i have to do in order to do that? Can i just get a six bolt block (pistons crank etc), flywheel, clutch and put it in? or what else do i need? can my 7 bolt head go on the 6 bolt block? im sorry i just have so many thoughts going through my head as to what i should do. There really is no point in doing a head gasket cuz this motor isnt going to be run much longer

could be a head gasket. why not just fix the head gasket (if it is) because it wil be much cheaper then buying a new motor and then in 10 months buy a whole new motor. there is no intentions on changing where your getting your motor from but all i hear about SBR motors is that they are no good and dont last that long. not sure on the swap but it cant be that hard because thats what alot of the 7 bolt guys do.

yea i was either gonna get a SBR 2.4l stage 3 or build a stage 5 2.0 from buschur racing. i dont really want to put all that effort into an engine that in my mind, isnt worth it, get what i mean?

About that oil... same thing happened to me, sorda. Its was something similar. But I had just added some oil into my car and i guess I didnt tighten down the oil cap hard enough. Anyway, I was driving and heard a big pop. I pulled over immediately and it was my oil cap that came off and oil had gone everywhere.

i am not sure if this helps. But I cleaned everything and my car is fine now.
