Default Engine fan

ok i got my car fixed....so i went for the first drive...and my fan that is in front of the turbo...those wires fell on the turbo manifold melted all over.....so i found out that the fan is not the stock one...i tried to wire it up to the wires that it was hooked up to.....but it won't work...check fuse (FINE).....the one that sends the air in the engine comp. works fine...the fan that does not work has a red and black wire coming from it..any one know what the correct wiring is....there are a choice of 4 wires....
