Default engine leaked large amount of coolant

Hi guys, im new here and just bought a 97 GST spyder. The car needed to change timing belts and other belts, so i went to a local shop and had them changed (I bought the belts from kragon). After a couple days,I drove home at night (about 30 mins drive). When I parked in front of my house, I notices a lot of smoke came out of the hood. And I poped it opened and notice the coolant leaked all over the floor. Can this be caused by the bad installation of those belts? It never happened before they were changed.

Please help...... by the way, im calling the shop tomorrow.

Sounds like coolant dripped or poured out of the coolant overflow bottle. Assuming that the coolant was on the passenger side of the ground. Just check your coolant levels in the morning to be on the safe side. You could need a new thermostat too.
Did you notice your temp out of norms at all?

even if the temp gauge in the car doesnt read hot, my car just had the same problem yesterday. my temp gauge read normal and i was pouring coolant out of the overflow pipe. i pulled out my thermostat and it was better

I came home tired and late last night, so I didn't trace where it was coming from. But im sure it was not overflow because the coolant level wasn't high the last time I checked.
I believe the coolant was coming from bottom/driverside of the engine. I'm guessing when the mechanic inspect my water pump, he loosen something and didn't tighten back. He will look at my car tomorrow and he better not charge me anything........
I hate leaving my car at home, its such a nice weather in nor-cal now.
