engine probs HELP!

Default engine probs HELP!

car has very hard trouble starting i have to keep pumping the gas for a few mins for it to start and then when it starts it overheats hella quick.. and then alot of white smoke comes out the exhaust.. would anybody know whats going on? i was told that my head is cracked any suggestions?

sounds like a head gasket to me....that will mostly likely cost around 1k or so....depending on where you go. But i am willing to bet thats your problem

White smoke= bad head gasket= coolant getting into combustion chamber= terrible performance, and you're killing your engine.

Who told you your head was cracked?

haha i beat you to it.. HAHA ... Well someone told him his head was cracked....not his engine. but still i see what your saying. Either way its the head gasket

well what i did was i went and bought a rebuilt head on ebay for $400 so hopefully that will help out the problem.. what u guys think good idea? here's the head..

my bro in-law told me that its more than likly cracked so insted of taking the head off and bringing it to the machine shop to get it check for $65 bucks i rather just buy a rebuilt head to get it out the way.. check the link on top thats the head i bought.

that is where to start.... never dish out the $$$ for the expensive stuff first man. and to crack your head it will take alot of abuse and heat and high RPMs to do
