i was wondering if its possible to swap in a spyder gts engine into a eclipse gst. and as anyone tried it. i was thinking of getting a 97-99 eclipse gst. but the spyder has 2.4L and turbo, the only thing that really changes would be the 2.0 to a 2.4. i dont like the spyder kuz its convertible way to much weight.

or possibly change it to a newer engine from the spyder or eclipse like the 00 and up models, if it does fit without too much of a hassle then i could work on the engine then place it in the car.
