Engine swap vs. rebuild/&&Right hand drive conv.
(1) My 98 gst has 160k miles on it and runs like a champ. The guy I bought it from was the original owner and kept the car immaculate. He maintained everything to a T. When I purchased it he gave me a stack of maintenance records about 4 inches thick. With all of this mileage on the original motor I wanted to know if it would be easier/ less expensive to Rebuild this motor OR to order a low mileage motor and do a swap. I dont have the experience to do the rebuild but can do the swap w/ little assistance. what do you guys think?
(2) I also have had the pulleys all checked out at the local pep boys shop twice now. My pulleys sometimes squeel preety bad and make my lights flicker while it happens. Pep boys said the pulleys were fine. They replaced a 3 week old belt for free because it was already worn too much. What could be the problem?
(3) I was wondering how much work and how much in parts it would take to make a 98 gst right hand drive. Is it really that hard?

1) If you were able to rebuild it yourself, it would be a bit cheaper, but a whole "new" 4g63t wont be toooo much more. Definately worth it.
2) Way too tight. Im not sure where to adjust. But theyre definately too tight.
3) I would really like to know too. It would be sweet
