Find a 1g GSX......styling might not be the greatest but with the right **** done to it, they put down some good numbers.

Not quite man, You dont see EVOs crumbling to the ground. No crankwalk issues with them at all. If you own a 2G no matter what Crankwalk is in the back of your mind at all times when driving it.
Oh and I dont want to here the excuse that EVOs are still new because there are morethan enough now well over 100k and are still running perfect not like the % of 2Gs that fall apart even earlier than that

and now to get back on point, we all know how strong the EVO's are... no denying it. and we all know that the 2gs have a crankwalk problem, if you buy a 2g, you can take the money tha tyou would save from buying an EVO and get a 1g 6bolt engine and drop it into ur car, the bottom end is stronger and will not walk. Onstyling... i like them both just about the same amount but i'm gonna have to give the trophey to the 2g only b/c it's my dream car and i own one. so it's really a matter of preference. obviously the EVO will come stock with more power but it doesn't take much tuning or bolt on party to make a 2g just as fast as an evo right off the bat. so good luck and keep us posted on what you go with.

Ok guys we all know both are good cars. The evo is an amazing vehicle straight off the dealership. The 2nd gen is a good car also. With a motor swap and some work the 2nd gen will perfom very well and keep up with an evo. Evo's do cost more but you get what you pay for. Either way, a honda does NOT stand a chance against either.lol

To add about the you get what you pay for thing. The EVO is all performence from every aspect. 2Gs comes with bad brakes the ROtors worp easy. then the recaro seats are nice the HIDs with electric hight adjust are nice the IC sprayer from the factory is nice ect ect ect. There is a reason the EVO cost alot just look at the name brand toys it comes with. The Steering wheel alone is a $300 wheel the brakes are a few $1000s ect ect. Honestly the 2G is a cheap sports car. they are slapped together to be fast but not quality from the factory.
The 2G with a few mods can be as fast as an EVO BUT you stil lack the other quality parts that make the EVO great.
