Default evo 8 fuel pump

hey i was wondering if an evo 8 stock fuel pump would fit my spyder 2.4l 4g64/63 and if it would be considerd an upgrade?

Its very similar to a walbre 190 lph but quieter and oem. It should be a direct drop it. I got one on my old gsx for $40.00 shipped so they can be gotten cheap.

ya i found one for 40bucks local ill talk him down to 20 haha. alright and that is plenty right? like i wont need to upgrade? my goal is 300whp maybe 350hp. right now im braking in my 2.4l 4g63/64 with a stock turbo set up just need to drop it in with the fuel pump.

Bypass the EVO VIII pump and go with an EVO IX. Perhaps one from an MR and get an EVO fuel regulator also. They are better than the DSM regulator by not getting overrun. That will help alleviate the need for an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.
