Default Exhaust problem

I bought a HKS Muffler and i went to numerous shops wanting to get it installed. Every shop i went to told me that they couldnt do 3inch for me from the cat-back because of the problem if going over the axle (97 GST) and making it fit right. My question, do you go over or under the axle when doing 3 inch? Some cars ive seen have it running underneath the axle which puts it close to the ground but it works. Any suggestions on how to go about getting this installed?

ooooooo i see what your saying... yeah, see if they'll at least make the pipe for ya, then you can bolt it up... i dont think that just cause they wont do 3 inch pipe work that it wont fit, they might just not wanna mess with is... if they make you the pipe, you can just feed it through and clamp it all together... it'd save money too
