Does anyone know what year the green Eclipse on the Fast and the Furious is? Also, what trim level, RS, GS, or GST? I also don't understand why when he hits the nitrous the second time on the first race, and his computer says "danger to manifold", why does his floor panel fall off? I know it's just a movie, but come one.

 

They tried to play it like it was a GSX, but it was really just an RS with a body kit. Who knows why they would even put that manifold thing in, perhaps the "official" tuners during production thought it that nitrous would cause there to be more exhuast gasses than normal and that the manifold might not be able to handle it all.....or that the temps were getting too high for the manifold...Anythign to make the hero seem like he was in was present danger!
