Default a few issues

Hey guys. Sorry I've been asking so many questions this week. I've been home and have actually had time to get on here. I have some issues
1) Sometimes when I take my foot off of the gas, at low speeds, my AFRs dip lean as hell ( not even registering) and the car bogs for a second.
2) I removed the back seats ( I have harnesses and non reclining seats... so they were worthless anyway) and its been raining. Today I noticed water in the back seat area. There was actually a small puddle. There are no drips from the roof area and all the weatherstripping is sealing properly. It looks like its running down from under the spare tire cover.. I don't know if that makes sense, but thats what it looks like
3) There is a weird *** smell when I run the heater and put the car in reverse. I was worried that i might be my capacitors leaking but i heard it could be the heater core too. The ecu is easy to check, but how do you check the heater core?
4) Finally, I just replaced my alternator with a high output model (unnecessary because i found out later that it was the batteries that were bad) anyway, my alternator light keeps coming on. Is it because it doesn't like the extra voltage or because something is wrong with the connection?

Sorry thats so many issues, but i thought i would put it out there while i had time. Thanks for your help guys. I always appreciate the input to something that i probably missed. Have a good night guys.

1) Thats normal (the lean part) The bogging.... are you recirculating your BOV? Have you done a boost leak test?

2) Seems like you already know.... but thats half normal LOL. Maybe sit in the car while its raining hard?

3) Not sure

4) Yeah, its just the extra juice that is freaking it out.

thanks brother. I always appreciate your help; even though you want me to give you my wife. No i'm not recirculating my BOV, I have a blow through set up, so there's no need to. I'm happy there is nothing wrong with the new alternator. The old one killed both of my batteries... or i did jump starting the car all the time.... reguardless.... sucks big nuts

Hmmm.. i cant see why the car would bog. Is that really the best way to describe it?

for #3, does it smell when you put it in reverse or move in reverse? either way, i would lean more on the heater core side... do you have any way of describing what it smells like?

hmm probably not the best way to describe it... and i tried to repeat it this morning.. Its when I let off the gas and then step back on it... not shifting, but just to adjust my speed. When i step back on it.. the afr leans out so much that it doesn't register ( --- ), but then it picks back up. It almost seems like the o2 sensor is too slow to tell the computer to adjust the fuel. Nick, it smells when I'm moving in reverse. I don't know how to describe it. Its not a burning smell. It just smells bad. The heater core is behind the glove box correct? How would I test it? How could i tell if it were bad or not? Thanks guys I appreciate it.

I think thats just a trait of the GM MAF-T.

Why the hell are you running that anyways?

oh god. A MAF-t. Aweful. The only reason you would need that is if you wanted to recirc. But even then they suck. I would just get rid of it and go back to the MAS
