Fitting A Body Kit???
Hey, I found a really good deal on a body kit from a guy who lives about a half hour away from me. He said that it was for a 1999 eclipse and mine is a 1996. I wasn't sure if all body kits for 99's will go on any 95-99 eclipse because he said the headlights are different but it might work. This is far to good of a deal to turn down but I need it to fit right of course. Can anybody help me out?

yea, you'll need to get 97-99 headlights, which u can pick up pretty cheap on ebay. And by the way, you can ALWAYS pass up deals on body kits... i thought the same thing with my old rs, i thought "man this is a great deal! i cant pass this up"... 2 years and about 8k later i got rid of that car cause i was so sick of it... one thing always leads to another. for me it was body kit, then mold the kit, then custom body work, then paint it, then wheels, the interior, ect. ect. ect

Yeah I just really want a new body kit because the front bumper that the guy had on the car when i baught it is all scraped up on the bottom and paint is chipping off it and it looks horible so I figured it was a really good deal.
So i just have to buy new lights?

to each their own. i had a body kit on my 99 OZ GS and loved it for about 3 months after i got it painted and my rims on it. after that i couldn't stand it. if you hit a decent sized bump in the road you risk the fiberglass breaking, cracking or bending to crack the paint. it's so much work and not worth it IMO. 97-99 stock FTW. carbon fiber front lip and good to go.
